NOTD: Nicole by OPI Mis-Magenta Me?

I picked this up randomly last time I was at Target. I'm always curious to try Nicole by OPI but never really picked anything up.

I've been into pink's/red's a lot lately and this one looked swirled with silver so I gave this one a shot.
I like the formula, this was one with one coat. One coat! Can you believe that? And I LOVE the brush, it made it so easy to apply and even on my left hand! I hardly got any extra nail polish on my finger's like I usually do. So yay for an awesome brush!

The color itself looked a lot brighter the next day lol. It's basically a pink layered on top of a silver. At least, when I removed it, it would remove the pink part first and there would be a layer of silver remaining. Personally, I love this color and I wish I could find more nail polishes like it. Plus it makes it look pretty in the bottle :).

Okay, so I'm not a fan of the Nicole by OPI bottles. I mean really, what is that? It throws off the consistent round-ness of all my other nail polish bottles making it harder to store in my train case. That's probably the only issue I have with this. Well that and I think that they should release more colors :).

NOTD - Sinful Colors: Aqua

I know I haven't been posting much here... I've been addicted to nail polish lately. So I'll be posting a few NOTD's and some haul's soon! I've been filming a lot of haul video hauls on my youtube that I'll make a post of after this... but for now, today's NOTD!

Sinful Colors in Aqua. I've been keeping my eye on Cherry Culture for awhile to snag this color and I'm glad I finally got to! It's gorgeous! A pretty pop of summer color without being too bright!

I have the Sinful Colors base coat under it and it's been 2 days and no chipping so far! Amazing!

I realized I hate nail polish with glitter on it (NOTD soon that will explain why) so I've been attracted to shimmer and duo-chrome colors.

So what's your favorite summer nail polish color?

Have you heard of the new Shrek collection from OPI? I'm a bit excited about this!

I love the pastel-ish colors in this collection! I wish my Sally's Beauty would sell OPI collections!

Which colors do you plan on getting?

OPI Alice In Wonderland Collection.

OPI is to release an Alice In Wonderland collection inspired by the new Tim Burton film. I dont think there's a release date as of yet.

Off with Her Red! – A glowing, empowering hot red
The Red Queen: Cruel ruler of Underland, she cuts off the heads of those who disagree with her. She would rather be feared than loved.

Absolutely Alice - An absolutely amazing blue glitter
Alice Kingsley: Beautiful but slightly off-kilter, sees the world differently than most. In the Rabbit Hole, she seeks to write her own destiny.

The Mad Hatter: Formerly the White Queen’s hatter. Now, he is part of the Underland Resistance and driven to madness by guilt.

Thanks so muchness! For this "much-have" red shimmer
And lastly…; As if the tale was not adventurous enough, one more shade to color your own Underland over and over.

Ahh! I'm not a fan of OPI, but I'm going to snatch up this entire collection!

I also heard that MAC is releasing a Disney Villains collection next year, but the majoirty of things are re-promotes (like Cakeshop shade stick, wtf?). I'll post more info when I get more. But so far, it doesnt look too promising. What is it with MAC releasing collection after collection but half of the new collection are all re-promotes?! Ugh.

Review: ELF Nail Polish.

ELF Nail Polish in Blush.

Nail polish has always been one of those childhood things for me, when I was younger my mom would always paint my nails. And the one thing I hate the most about nail polish is that it takes forever to dry! I also hated how every time I took a bubble bath my nail polish would chip (I have a really weird childhood OCD to go with that lol). So I kinda just never painted my nails growing up. Lately, I've been really into nail polish. I think I have a addiction for colors, seriously.

You guys know how much I love ELF, and of course they offer a wide selection of nail polish colors for just $1. Its kinda hard not to go nuts over that. I had my eye on this color for awhile but it was sold out so when it was finally in stock, I decided to pick one up (or two... or three, I dont remember lol).

I usually use China Glaze to paint my toe nails and China Glaze takes awhile to dry, so I use the OPI quick dry spray. I did one coat of the ELF nail polish and noticed up pigmented it was but decided to do another coat just to see if it would improve the color so I waited a few seconds and I was about to mist on the OPI quick dry spray when I noticed... the ELF nail polish had already completely dried. I was completely shocked! So I went ahead and put on another coat and it didnt change the color, it kept it pretty much the same and within the first coat it was already true to the bottle. I was just curious haha. The second coat also dried quickly. I've had it on my toes for 3 days now and it's still shiny and hasnt chipped yet!

Blush in the bottle is a little darker than the picture they provide on the site. It looks like a peachy brown pearl color. But on your nails its a peachy pinky gold color that has a nice pearl to it. I wanna say its MAC's pigment in Melon but in nail polish form (I totally just swatched the pigment on my toe to make sure haha), then again it could be the lighting in my room.

I'm extremely impressed with this product! Now only if they offered even more colors...

SWATCHES! WiTH MY TOES!
Just a warning in case you dont like toes!

These were taken at night without flash, the second picture is a better swatch than the first.
