Project 10 Pan: #1 - LUSH Snow Fairy Body Wash.

I haven't really... well I've thought about doing a Project 10 Pan but I never wanted to announce it and make it official because then I'd just feel obligated and when I feel obligated I'm most likely going to break the rules. So by not announcing it... if it happens, it happens. Does that make sense? Anyway, even if I wasn't doing a Project 10 Pan, I think finishing a product on it's own deserves to be mentioned since you all know how much I hoard and buy makeup. And yes, I hardly ever finish most of it.

So recently I ran out of my body wash (if you're curious I use Axe. I started using it when my husband left for Basic Training because he took the exact same one with him and because it was his scent well and mine, since I stole his deodorant a number of times in high school....) and I didn't have time to go buy another one since I'm always busy with school and paperwork and blah blah blah.

I decided to give in and just use my LUSH Snow Fairy Body Wash. I really had no intention of using it. I bought it because I thought it smelled good and it looked pretty and because I hardly ever get to buy anything from LUSH! My husband suggested I buy the small (I was grabbing the medium) because he knew I probably wouldn't use it (HA! In your face!)...

Well not only is it completely gone but I had to water it down because I had no other body wash to use. I'm actually glad I got the small bottle because towards the end, the smell was really starting to bother me.

It smells pretty at first... it reminds you sweet sugary pink goodness. Cotton Candy, Bubblicious gum, Bubble Gum, Pink Sugar... if such a think exists. But after smelling it every single night... it kinda started to make me feel a little nauseous. Maybe if I didn't water it down to prolong it's life, I probably wouldn't have that problem. But I'm glad I used it and I'm glad it's gone!

I would repurchase this. I think in a year I'll be okay with the scent again lol.

Yay! One down, nine more to go!

Holiday Lush Haul!

I finally got to go on my Lush haul! I grabbed a lot of the Holiday stuff!

Snowcake Soap
According to the site; Its a fantastically creamy soap that smells of irrisitable the almond icing on a Christmas cake. I definitely get the almond icing scent from this soap.

Snow Fairy Shower Gel
This is the first shower gel I've bought from Lush. My fiance actually spotted this first and liked the way it smelled, my fiance is NOT a fan of Lush lol so if he likes something, it must smell good. And this does! According to the site; The fragrance is sweet as pink cotton candy, mixed with soothing vanilla. The scent is really sweet, almost a strawberry sweet. I dont pick up much of a vanilla.

Sunny Side Bubble Bar
According to the site; Sink into glowing white bubbles and revel in the sparking gold water while inhaling blissful sweet orange, lemon and tangerine essential oils. This too is the first bubble bar I've bought from Lush. The last time I was in the store one of the employee's showed me the glittery swirl that this bar makes. The glitter is really really loose and it gets EVERYWHERE when you touch it! I was debating between this one or the red one, but I love the smell of citrus so I went with this one.

Cinders Bath Bomb
According to the site; The warming sweet cinnamon and orange fragrance was inspired by a comforting yuletide drink in Sweden and is utterly irresistible on a chilly evening. I got this because pinkiecharm had done a review or haul on this and mentioned that it included pop rocks. I thought that would be awesome and fun so I grabbed one!

So White Bath Bomb
According to the site; We assure you however, that this Bath Bomb is not full of poison to put you to sleep. It is made with an uplifting fragrance of refreshing oranges, apples and romantic rose and is meant to awake you if you've been under a spell (or are just feeling tired). I hadnt planned on getting any other Bath Bomb besides Cinders. But I couldnt resist this one. It smells like apple in soft powdered sugar.

Vanilla in the Mist Soap
There isnt a description listed on the site. But this has a nice strong vanilla scent.

The Godmother Soap
I got a sample of this. According to the site; In case you haven't smelled Snow Fairy, the scent is sweet like fruity pink candies. We'd just like to point out that it does not, however, taste like yummy candies; it tastes like soap. This soap... is so STRONG. Goodness. I had it on my night stand near the door and I could smell it in my sleep! It does smell like candies. In fact, it smells like Bazooka Bubblegum. I promise you it does! It even gives you that mouth watering I-want-to-chew-gum feeling!

Review: Lush - Dream Cream.

I bought this last year. Or earlier this year. I dont really remember, but it was between this or Charity Pot. The sale associate was telling me the difference between the two and the boyfriend strongly suggested I get Dream Cream since I get horrible dry spots on my hands a lot, especially during the winter.

I had stopped using it a few months back because I just got too lazy and the top was a hassle to screw on and off especially when you first apply the cream and the oils are still sitting on your skin.

Since its getting colder, my dry spots have been seriously acting up. I slightly wake up during the night scratching my hands and causing red bumps (I have OCD so I'm constantly washing my hands, I've successfully stripped moisture from my hands so they tend to itch a lot and when I scratch them, I get red burning bumps, frustrating). So I decided to go back to my Dream Cream.

I forgot how much I loved this product. It really helps so soothe the dry areas of my skin and I just love the way it feels. The only thing I dont love about it, is how long it takes to absorb into my skin. I hate the feelin of oil on my hands, so I usually apply this right before bed so I'm not touching anything that could be ruined by oily fingerprints (like the keyboard or my DS or ipod, things with that type of finish to them).

Unfortunately mine expires in 2 days! Oh no! I wasnt aware! And Lush is really far from me too, darn. But after having it for about a year, there's still a lot of product left. Seriously, that pot could probably last me a good 3 years if it never expires. Totally worth the money!

LUSH + MAC.

This entry is kinda late, I finally bought something from Lush (after going in that store for years and not buying anything)! It was hard deciding on what I wanted. Originally I knew I wanted "Honey I Washed the Kids" soap but I was trying to stay within a $15 budget. So that was out of the question. I ended up just getting two things.

  • Too Drunk... Emotibomb
  • Each Peach (and Two's a pair) Massage Bar

I havent tried the Emotibomb yet, though I had planned to when I went to Disneyland. The Massage Bar, I think I did it wrong because I ended up with lots of oil's all over me and I almost slipped in the shower a few times. Not a good look!

I havent decided on what I'm getting next from Lush, its a bit hard since I live at home with my parents and I dont have my own shower. They might think it's food or something and throw it away.

So since I found out that you could make your own palettes at MAC (and not have to go to the pro store), I kinda went a little nuts with these palette haul's. It was expected though wasnt it!

I had bought the 188 from MAC Macy's (instead of shelling out the extra money for a 187) but ended up not liking it, so I planned to exchange it for the 109, but they were sold out. So I went to the MAC store and bought the 109 there. Along with, of course a new palette.

  • Beauty Marked
  • Club
  • Hush
  • Nylon
I didnt like Club so I exchanged it later for Creme de Violet. Went home and thought about it and didnt like it either (I dont think I'm a big fan of velvet's cause of the glitter that just obviously stands out). So I exchanged it for Stars N Rockets and I think I'm satisfied now lol!

I had bought two new refills (about a week or two after the last palette haul) to complete my birthday palette (which only had Phloof! & All That Glitters). I also ended up picking up one of the Dazzleglasses from the Double Dazzle collection.

  • Rags to Riches Dazzleglass
  • Knight Divine eyeshadow
  • Crystal Avalanche eyeshadow
  • Violet pigment (sample)
Of course you know I had to get a sample! I still got my eyes on Pink Opal and Golden Lemon pigments. I havent been a huge fan of yellow eyeshadow but lately I have been! It might be that Spring vibe goin around.

Valley Fair haul & Sephora order haul!

I loveloveLOVE Valley Fair Mall, its so hard to leave empty handed! I swear! OMG!

  • All is Calm Aromatherapy set from Bath & Body Works
  • Bath & Body Works nail polish remover pads
  • Bath & Body Works Shimmer Splash in Cool Kiwi Berry
  • Lush Dream Cream
  • To Write Love On Her Arms shirt from Hot Topic
  • Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner set in VIP from Macys

The cool thing about this haul is the only thing I had to pay full price for was the shirt and the Lush. I got all the Bath & Body Works stuff for $3.23!! And I got the UD eyeliner set for like $7. I love gift cards & mail coupons!

I decided to include this in here too since, it would be pointless to make it a whole other entry. So this is the order Sephora screwed up on and sent me TWO OF THE SAME ORDER but charged me for one. And me being honest, I returned the second set. I mean really, what was I gonna do with it? Of course someone wasnt too happy with that lol.

  • On 10 Tootsie Roll lip balm set
  • Philosophy Soda Fountain lip gloss set (Cherry Cola, Root Beer Float & Fruit Punch)
  • Tootsie Pop lip gloss
  • Free 10 trial of Bare Minerals foundation (even though I know I hate it, hey it was free!)
  • Free Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Zero

The eyeliner is what I was really excited about and what they messed up my order with. They told me it was out of stock so that's when I had bought the VIP set from Ulta... then I get this package THE DAY AFTER I BOUGHT VIP. So yeah, I was pretty... pissed about that...
