Zoya Nail Polish Exchange.
on Sunday, June 13, 2010. Filed under: zoya, zoya nail polish exchangeHave you guys heard of this? The Zoya Nail Polish Exchange? I recently picked up a Zoya nail polish from Nuggets (a grocery store here in the Bay Area) and I fell in love. Seriously! The formula is amazing and the color is true to bottle in just one swipe. It also removes very easily, I think I have a new nail polish love. So when I heard about the Nail Polish Exchange, of course I jumped on it and ordered the polishes I wanted!
But... what I didn't know was that they change $3.50 per bottle for shipping. So imagine my shock when it stated that my polishes were free but... I owed $35 in shipping?! What?! Maybe that's my fault, maybe I didn't read the details as carefully as I should had. The polishes are $7/bottle so I mean if you think about it, paying $3.50/bottle instead is steal... but still... seeing $35 as your balance is kind of still shocking! And they send you an invoice but you don't pay. You send a check or something for your payment with your polishes... or something.
I wouldn't know, like I said I don't think I read over everything carefully and I tried contacting them for two days straight only to have the phone ring for 26 minutes each time before I decided to hang up. I tried their "live 24/7 customer service" link and they were offline. So I left a message. On Wednesday. It's now half an hour til Monday and I still didn't get a response. I tweeted them on Friday, no response. I mean, COME ON! How the hell are you suppose to get a hold of someone?! *sigh. I guess I can't cancel my order now...
Anyway, with all that said, if you're still interested in the exchange, here are the details... because really $3.50/bottle (pretty much) is a steal. The nail polish itself is amazing.
So here's the deal, the minimum for exchange is 6 bottles of any old nail polish as long as it's not Zoya brand. And like I mentioned before, you're paying $3.50 a bottle for shipping. This offer ends June 30th, 2010.

I don't remember which colors I got, but when I get them (since they notified me to say that they're shipping on Monday) I'll let you guys know.

sorry to hear that you had so much trouble trying to reach someone from CS to talk to, but their website did explain the $3.50 shipping charge also includes the cost to properly dispose of the polishes that you send in as part of the exchange. Sure it's not exactly free, but it's still a deal for 1/2 the cost of what a bottle would normally cost.

I heard about this program, sounds like a pretty decent deal. Too bad there's not free shipping (hehe) but $3.50 isn't so bad, either. Enjoy your polishes, I can't wait to see which ones you got!
