Review: ELF Complexion Perfection

Where to buy: eyeslipsface.com or at your local Target (if they carry ELF items, not all do)
Price: $3

My cheeks are usually red, I'm not sure why... but I'm going to assume it's from the dryness. I attempted to use the MUFE green color correcter and for awhile, it worked but then it started to dry quickly and I couldn't blend it in before it dried and left green spots on my face (then again it was just a sample and not the full sized jar).

So when ELF released this, I was pretty excited. Not only did it have a green color corrector but it also had 3 other shades! And it was powder... no blend-quick-before-your-face-turns-green!

The ELF Complexion Perfection claims:
Create a balanced and radiant complexion that is beautiful and healthy. The lightweight formula evens out the skin tone and absorbs excess oil. The sheer formula brightens, mattes and neutralizes the skin. The colors are meant to be blended together as the Blue neutralizes orange, the Green neutralizes red, the Pink neutalizes grey and the Yellow brightens and neutralizes red.

YES!

  • Four color correcting powders in one sleek compact
  • 13.5G of product!
  • Lightweight feel on your skin
  • Absorbs oil
  • The price

NO!

  •  The color correcting powders aren't full coverage

When I first started using this, I thought the green would completely cancel out the red. But that's not the case. The color correcting powders do slightly cancel the colors they're suppose to, but don't expect it to be completely gone. However, I do like that this is lightweight on your skin and that it does brighten up your face. I also like that it absorbs oil. Even though this didn't do what I thought it would do, I still do really like this product!

Thanks for the review! :D For $3, I think it's worth a try. The compact also looks so sleek as well. 4 different colors is pretty awesome! :)

Mineral cosmetics are the best for skin. So much better than chemical filled junk.
